When I moved to North Wales in 2002 I started to go hill walking. On my travels in the remote parts of Wales I began to notice 'man made' stuff such as old settlements, mines and those things with 'olde worlde' writing on the Ordanance Survey maps. I slowly began to realise that these wild abandoned places were once the stage of people's lives and dreams. This prompted an interest in Prehistory.
